Second Junior match of the Summer and the weather was glorious with blue skies, sun, very little breeze and an air temperature of abour 24 degrees Celsius.
Ten Junior members fished today here on the canal pool at Moss Side Fishery in Woolston, Warrington. Our thanks to Ken the owner who has been very helpul and supplied the keepnets today and allowed us to use our BBQ. Our usual chef Ken was away on other duties today so our Papparrazzi deputised as chef, whilst our netsman, James, deputised as Papparrazzi, hope that is clear!
The match was run as a Rover match today so members were allowed to pick their own peg. Everyone was ready early so all-in was at 10.30am and all-out was at 2.00pm.
Thanks to all of our helpers and parents who stayed, can't do it without you, so thanks again.
Everyone caught today and enjoyed it so much, we have booked the venue for a Junior match again next year (30th June if you want to make a note).
No big fish, but enjoyable none the less.
We are back on our home venue at Brownlee's next Saturday 9th July.
Look forward to seeing you there for a 9.00am draw.
