Last but one match of the year and today we were at Meadow View in Lymm.
Eleven anglers were there to battle it out, and it was a battle, fishing was tough today on this and the other pools.
The weather was fine with sunny intervals and an air temperature of 20 degrees and very little breeze.
The draw took place and all in was at 10.35am as everyone was ready and we fished until 2.00pm.
We welcomed some new members today, Tom Douglas, Conner Muir and James Jones.
Lunchtime came and as is normal practice on away venues for Juniors we went to the chippy to get the lunch. Frank and Paul handed out the food and also drinks to keep everyone refreshed.
As said before it was tough and three of our members didn't weigh in, we did however get a 'biggest fish' caught by Conner Muir on his first match with us, he had a 9lb 9oz Carp. Can that be beaten on the next and final match of the year for our Junior league which is at our Whitegate Pool on Saturday 10th September. Or will Conner bag the trophy for 2011? See you at Whitegate to find out....
Look forward to seeing you there for a 9.15am draw.
Tightlines.....
