Last match in our Winter League and last match for 2019.
This is our 'Fur & Feather' match and thanks to club member Mark Bibby of 'MSB' plenty of money was at stake, thanks to Mark who contributed £250.
Seventeen members were on the match today, and due to the monies in, it was a slightly different match format.
We were paying out top three and also we had three sections for which there was also a payout for the winner of each section, or if that person was in top three it defaulted to the next highest weight in the section.
We also drew three numbers for a chance at Golden Peg instead of the usual one.
Match fished the usual five hours from 10.00 - 3.00.
A few folk had breakages/losses of tackle, two I know are Dave Hunt who broke a section and Tony Bennett who had some gear sink into the murky depths.
As you'll see below there were some close weights, thanks to all who fished we hope everone has a great Christmas and New Year, hope to see you in 2020.

The Golden Peg numbers today were 105, 107 and 111, once again, even with three numbers in, it still continues to remain safe. Mick had the nearest chance finishing in second place today, another fish or two and it could've been a different story.

After the match concluded thirteen of our members went for a Christmas carvery at Stonemill Pub, Warrington to round the year off in style!
